Project 6: Staff Development
To give you the best service possible, Numsa staff must be properly trained. Numsa will organise ongoing training for its staff – administrative and organising staff – so they can serve you better. Training will be provided on issues that different categories of staff need. For example, labour laws, management of staff, computer training, giving advice, accounting skills and so on.
Project 7: Ear to the Ground
If Numsa wants to be democratic it has to always have its ear on the ground to hear what you, the members are thinking. For the last year, Numsa has been listening to members, office bearers and staff. But if you feel that you never got a chance to say what is wrong with Numsa, don't despair.
Numsa is also planning general meetings and summits in your local areas where you can go and hear what Numsa is doing and tell us where we are going wrong. This newsletter tells you briefly what is happening around organisational renewal. Use it to check if we are keeping to our plans. And if we are not, attend summits / general meetings in your local to put us back on track!
