National Congress – Consolidating a decade of democracy for working class emancipation!
Numsa’s 7 th National Congress will take place from September 19 – 23 this year. Now is the time to start the long process of reviewing policies and practices. Make sure you attend local general meetings from April this year. Make your voice heard. Numsa officials and shop stewards will be putting their ears to the ground to hear what new policies you want, what you want changed and how you want decisions implemented.

National Office Barriers Strategising workshop: 1– 2 April
To consider the following, a review of the outcomes of Regional Congresses, the first draft of the Secretariat Report, collective approach to Congress and lastly, state of readiness for the April 14 th Elections.
Extended Central Committee Workshop: 23 – 25 April
To enrich the Secretariat Report.
Commission work on: Politics/ Socio economic environment/Organisational issues including or report/ collective bargaining including research and International issues.
Local Workshops/ General meetings: May [dates to be decided by locals]
To popularise the first draft of the Secretariat Report for Congress in factories and locals.

To consider the 2 nd draft of the discussion document for the National Congress.
