1. To get a card you must fill in an application form.
Get your application form from:
Your shop steward
Numsa regional or local office
NUMTEC head office (011)-783 3578/9 or write to NUMTEC, P.O. Box 787352 Sandton, 2146. Make sure you include a return address/contact number in your correspondence.

2. Fill in all sections of the form so that NUMTEC can negotiate credit and discount on your
behalf. Under the new law, applicants must provide all the information on the form before they can be considered for credit. The credit granting process will be subject to approval. Please note that Numtec will not use the same financial method as banks or similar financial bodies to grant credit. Credit granting will be based on the affordability of each individual member. If a member does not qualify for credit, Numtec will liaise with the member to provide assistance with regard to debt consolidation in order to ultimately qualify for credit. Regardless of your financial status, all members will still benefit from the negotiated discounts on products from retailers.
Please note: That all member and staff information will be regarded as confidential and will not be passed on to any credit association.
3. Hand the completed form to your shop steward (or post it back to NUMTEC)
4. As soon as we receive your completed application form, we will process the application and print your card. You will be notified by your shop steward, Numsa regional, local office, or NUMTEC head office where and when to collect you card.
