Guaranteed wage increases for Sectors 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7 in year two and three of the agreement:

On September 1 2005 and September 1 2006 , the employer will pay a guaranteed wage increase equivalent to the monetary value of the increase in prescribed minimum wages for the respective periods.

For example, if the minimum hourly increase for a Grade 3 worker on September 1, 2005 works out to 70c, then that will be your increase.

Guaranteed wage increases for manufacturing establishments in year one, two and three of the agreement:

7,5% for the period September 1 2004 to August 31 2005 ;
June 2005 CPIx plus 1% for the period September 1 2005 to August 31 2006 ;
June 2006 CPIx for June 2006 plus 2% for the period September 1 2006 to August 31 2007 ;

Provided that if the CPIx plus 1% for the period September 1 2005 to August 31 2006 and the CPIx plus 2% for the period September 1 2006 to August 31 2007, fall below 5% or exceed 9% then the increase in that year will be fixed at either 5% or 9%.
