How long have you been a shop steward?For six years now.
What other leadership positions do you hold? – elected as a member of the Numsa Regional Finance Committee in my region. – elected to serve in the Numsa regional education committee (Redcom) in my region – serve in the gender structures of Numsa as a Redcom member- serve in the bargaining forum of the auto sector- serve in the employment equity structure at my workplace
Are you involved in other alliance or community structures?- Member of the ANC Branch at ward 58- Part of a community project that focuses on HIV/AIDS orphanages and taking orphans who are victims of the pandemic to schools
What drives you? What are your passions?What drives me is to ensure that society is transformed ideologically and politically especially on gender (youth, women and children) struggles.
My passion is to see society transformed in the way in which HIV/AIDS is viewed and ensure that HIV/AIDS is de-stigmatised.
