Numsa Logo The National Office Bearers (NOBs’) of National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa (Numsa) will address members of the media Today, Thursday 05 June 2014, at 11h00am, NUMSA Head Office, 153 Bree (Cnr Gerard Sekoto) Street, Newtown, Johannesburg, Gauteng province.

The Press Conference is in relation to the collapsed Engineering/Metal collective bargaining negotiations with employer bodies – Steel and Engineering Industries Federation of South Africa (SEIFSA), National Employers Association of South Africa (NEASA) and Boarder Industry Association (BIA).

NUMSA represents more than 210 000 workers in this strategic layer of our economy. The Press Conference will be addressed by General Secretary IRVIN JIM; President ANDREW CHIRWA; 1st Deputy President CHRISTINE OLIVIER; 2nd Deputy President BASIL CELE; National Treasurer MPHUMZI MAQUNGO and Deputy General Secretary KARL CLOETE.
