Numsa’s education programme 2006
Numsa’s education department plans the following for 2006:
* run an induction course for new shop stewards * develop course material and pilot a course on workplace restructuring * develop course material and pilot a course that teaches shop stewards how to integrate the issues of employment equity and skills development in their workplace * train 100 shop stewards as educators to back up regional education officers * survey members to see how they find Numsa News and Numsa Bulletin and how we can improve them * investigate how to accredit all courses that Numsa runs * run political education for key leaders in the union.
