For just a few hours on the first night of the Congress, the Sadtu and Popcru choirs became pop idols as they backed up famous singers singing worker songs. Even delegates made recording history as the chorus for the songs.
Celebrities like Bra Hugh Masekela, Phuz Ikhemisi, Letta Mbuli, Jabu Khanyile, Busi Mhlongo and Sibongile Khumalo gave their best to produce a collection of worker songs.
