The National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa (NUMSA) welcomes the decision from the Essential Services Committee (ESC) confirming that fire fighters at Working on Fire form part of the essential services. This was already an obvious fact, but unfortunately Working on Fire (WOF) chose to dispute this reality in an attempt to delay the arbitration process. We condemn the management team at WOF for their delay tactics!
